This position

  • Based in Cairns, Queensland (occasional travel may be required)
  • Permanent (Full Time 76 hours per fortnight)
  • 11.5 % Employer Superannuation Contribution

About the position

The Care Coordinator plays an integral role in the development and delivery of the North Queensland Youth Alcohol and Other Drug (NQYAOD) model of care. Care Coordinator provide high quality care and case management of young people, and their families referred for an admission into the NQYAOD Residential Unit

The Care Coordinator works closely with residential workers to support allocated Young People to achieve their goals during their stay at NQYAOD unit. Care coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, facilitation and continuous review of group programs and activities within the NQYAOD. The coordinator ensures the content of group delivered are of high quality, evidence based and appropriate for the young people admitted to NQYAOD unit.
