your opportunity

Working with the office of the CEO, based in Milton, you will help drive best practice in records management across yourtown. You'll be the backbone of our operations, driving critical backend processes such as records management, information requests, risk assessment, compliance, accreditation, document management, and governance. In short, the 'big picture' of records management will be your area of expertise! You will also:

  • Create, integrate and implement frameworks, policies, and procedures essential for proactive and effective governance practices.
  • Maintain the yourtown cloud-based records management systems, coordinates the safe storage and management of physical records. 
  • Coordinate and respond to information requests, from external stakeholders such as clients, law enforcement and other agencies.
  • Facilitate others to make change.
  • Provide advice on best practice to internal stakeholders around creating, retaining and destroying records in accordance with yourtown policy.
  • Assist in reporting on risk, compliance, and governance issues to facilitate informed decision-making for the Executive Leadership Team, Board, and Board Committees.
  • Foster and promote a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of yourtown.

The right candidate for this role will:

  • Hold tertiary qualifications and possess relevant experience in providing records & information support to an organisation.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills including the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
  • Efficient time management and organisational skills in a setting with numerous competing priorities.
  • Well-versed in interpreting and applying legal, industry standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Bring a dynamic, results-oriented attitude, and excel in an environment that embraces organisational change.
  • Be a team player and willing to lean in to get the job done.
