The People & Culture Business Partner will deliver HR initiatives from an operational and strategic perspective. Based at our Milton head office, you will uplift organisational capability by partnering with business leaders to drive change and promote a high performing culture.

In addition to this you will:

  • Act as a trusted advisor, delivering quality advice on a broad range of HR matters affecting your assigned client groups.
  • Work collaboratively with business leaders in the development and execution of workforce plans including the analysis of workforce data to drive decision making within client groups.
  • Identify and implement improvement initiatives that contribute to the culture and productivity.
  • Lead and contribute to relevant HR projects, strategic initiatives, organisation development and continuous improvement activities.
  • Undertake and assist with the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of policies, procedures, and guidelines to support yourtown services.
  • Provide support and strategic input through organisational design, capability development, talent management, performance management, transformation, and change management.

what we are looking for

  • Degree qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Psychology, or relevant discipline and six (6) years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that successfully achieve desired outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of the compliance, legal and industrial relations framework within which yourtown operates.
  • Experience in a not for profit organisation would be highly regarded
  • Highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, exercise critical decision making, manage customer expectations and meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining positive and professional working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and people acumen, and ability to influence business leaders in all people related matters.
