Community Engagement Consultant – Aged Care
We are currently seeking a Community Engagement Consultant for the Home Care Packages Program to drive customer acquisition through the development of partnerships with referral networks harnessing new and existing B2B relationships, community engagement and sales activities in line with Your Side’s strategic plan.
This is a full-time role and reports directly to the Community Engagement Manager. Our offices are based in Chatswood, and this role will also have a community-based components, which requires you to have a drivers’ license. There is opportunity for flexible work arrangements including the potential for working from home.

Role Responsibilities:
- Under guidance from the Community Engagement Manager, carry out community engagement strategies that engage key target groups and stakeholders
- Contribute to the achievement of Your Side’s strategic growth goals particularly regarding customer acquisition targets
- Grow sales pipeline opportunities and subsequent growth outcomes for Your Side services, with a particular focus on Home Care for older people
- Engage referral networks and interagency networks in locations as determined by Your Side’s strategic plan and operational marketing plan developed by the Community Engagement Manager
- Confidently present to key stakeholders and partners (online and face to face) on our services and value proposition.
- Ensure qualified lead generation, customer acquisition and increased sales to Your Side
- Liaise with Customer Care team to harness existing referral source relationships to increase customer numbers and sales.
About You:
- Current drivers’ licence
- Understanding of the Aged Care system and ability to stay up to date as reforms unfold
- Understanding of key client groups including older people and their carers
- Knowledge of local government, health and community organisations that may be referral partners
- Confident presenter in person and online
- Ability to build authentic and mutually beneficial stakeholder and community relationships
- Understanding of person-centred principles
- Understanding of the opportunities and challenges of the social services sector and the reforms agenda.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to represent Your Side positively, articulate our value proposition and influence our key referral / stakeholder network
