Background

Yoowinna Wurnalung Aboriginal Healing Service (YWAHS) is an independent Not for Profit (NFP) organisation based in the scenic coastal region of Lakes Entrance Victoria, that delivers services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, men, children youth, Elders, couples and families to have a better understanding of family violence and able to make informed decisions to keep them safe.

Due to growth in the Organisation, we have a number of positions available and are seeking enthusiastic, experienced individuals to join our dynamic team.

The purpose of the position of Finance Manager is to;

• Responsible for the day to day financial operations of the YWAHS and assist the CEO with the financial, resource and business management of the Healing Service in accordance with YWAHS policies, legislative requirements and budgetary constraints.
• Undertake strategic financial planning and business modelling at YWAHS, ensuring financial management, including statutory compliance systems and
• Ensure the appropriate financial infrastructure is in place to support the provision of YWAHS services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
