This role is responsible for providing specialist case management services relating to organisational employee discipline investigations. It is considered a key contact in organisational investigations and will lead negotiations and gain cooperation of stakeholders throughout the investigation process.
The role plays a significant part in Yooralla's safeguarding of customers, by promoting the rights and well-being of every individual so they are recognised, respected, protected and fulfilled. In particular the role requires the ability to work with people with various disabilities to ensure they have a voice in the investigation process, while protecting the integrity of the process by ensuring procedural fairness and natural justice. Reporting to the Manager Recruitment, Employment and Investigations, this role is responsible for investigating incidents that have been reported by all stakeholders.
You will be required to conduct sensitive workplace misconduct investigations within tight timeframes across Yooralla with a high degree of autonomy. This includes preparing all documentation, conveying authoritative advice and information in written and verbal form to senior management and demonstrating a high level of analysis of material, as well as knowledge and expertise within the area of workplace investigations.
