About the role

Our OSHC Coordinators constantly inspire, encourage and nurture young children to learn, understand the world around them and most importantly, be just that – healthy, happy children! Supporting families and their children in a fun and stimulating environment is all part of YMCA’s Out of School Hours Care, (OSHC) that caters for children in kindergarten through to the age of 12.

The Y WA is currently recruiting for a Supervisor to join our Butler OSHC team on a permanent Full-time basis.

What does the role look like?

• Lead, supervise and develop your team of educators
• Develop and evaluate a fun and engaging program based upon YMCA’s Approach to Learning
• Provide a high-quality service to children, parents, and the local community
• Foster strong relationships with the school community
• Maintain accurate administration and financial records of the Service

Essential skills and experience

• An ACECQA approved qualification - Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care, Diploma in Children’s Services (0-14), Bachelor of Education or equivalent. (Overseas qualification must be assessed by ACECQA)
• Supervisor Approval Certificate
• HLTAID004 first aid certificate
• Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
