About the opportunity

In this newly created role you'll have the opportunity to showcase to our stakeholders the great work we do that impact communities served by key recreation contracts in City of Melbourne and Boroondara.

You'll work closely with site Managers and key leaders to ensure they are fully abreast of all activities and initiatives occurring within the relevant sites. You'll interact with key contract partners to ensure a consistency of messaging to priority audiences across councils, customers and members of the public.

This will see you coordinating activity activity across 'digital channels' including but are not limited to, YMCA owned social media channels, internal communications channels and platforms, BAU customer journey communications and promotional marketing emails.

This is a permanent full-time role featuring hybrid working from home, our state office in Box Hill and various recreation facilities. Remuneration is $72,000 + super.

About you

Experience in industry in a similar role creating and distributing engaging content across a variety of different sites and channels would be highly beneficial.

In addition, you will have:

  • A great eye for detail;
  • Good understanding of digital marketing and experience working on pro-active and reactive digital content and communications;
  • A flare for working with a variety of stakeholders to identity opportunities, plan activity and execute activity while bringing them on the journey.
  • Exposure to tools like, Canva, Adobe and Sprout would be beneficial.
