Yerrabi Yurwang is currently recruiting for a Salesforce Tech Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for ensuring a quality Salesforce CRM platform, that ensures: performance and compliance; & a Salesforce CRM platform that also connects with XERO, HPOS, and other relevant software required by Yerrabi programs that ensures our system works effectively to support Aboriginal Children, Young People and their Families to have the best start in life.

YERRABI

Yerrabi Yurwang Child & Family Aboriginal Corporation was established in 2019, due to the high unmet health and wellbeing needs of the local Aboriginal Community residing in Canberra’s Northwestern Ngunnawal region. Yerrabi Yurwang means to ‘walk strong’ and was bestowed upon the organisation by our esteemed and respected Ngunnawal Elder Aunty Agnes Shea OAM, who was also a Founding Board Member of Yerrabi and our Inaugural Patron. Yerrabi operates in the Northwest of the Australian Capital Territory, part of the traditional lands of the Ngunnawal People.

Yerrabi is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation, which means it is owned and operated by Aboriginal People, for Aboriginal People, and so, we are committed to the principle of selfdetermination, whereby we seek to engage and empower Aboriginal People and their Families who utilise Yerrabi’s services.

THE ROLE

You will be undertaking tasks to configure our Salesforce CRM Platform, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports and administer the Support Ticket system including troubleshooting and solving any issues that arise with the Salesforce platform.

You will play a vital role in continually improving and enhancing our Salesforce CRM Platform. You'll gather requirements and feedback, design best practice solutions, and ensure user satisfaction remains a top priority. If you're comfortable liaising with users, enjoy learning new business processes, and have a strong understanding of Salesforce, we want you on our team!

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Immediately available to start as soon as possible
  • Must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia
  • 4+ years Salesforce engineering experience
  • Salesforce System administrator certification highly desirable
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications of related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or associated field and/or equivalent industry experience highly desirable
  • Non-Profit service domain experience - highly advantageous
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Source control systems and Continuous Delivery tools is highly desirable.
  • Delivered solutions in Service and Experience cloud • Maps business functional requirements to system/technical requirements
  • Strong business processes, process documentation and process improvement skills

Responsibilities

  • Take charge of user and license management, ensuring every user has what they need.
  • Dive into Salesforce configurations, from flows to page layouts, dashboards, and reports.
  • Administer a Support Ticket system including troubleshooting and solving any issues that arise with the Salesforce system by answering questions and resolving issues.
  • Work closely with users and relevant stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Train users and create training materials to empower our team.
  • Leverage your Salesforce knowledge and hands-on administration experience with Not-for-Profit and Performance Cloud.
  • Bring fresh ideas and best practice solutions to the table, driving platform enhancements and user satisfaction.
  • Create and manage reports and dashboard to provide insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Identify and gather business requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
  • Identify unused or under utilised platform features to ensure continuous improvement on the platform.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

  • Working with Vulnerable Persons card, or equivalent, police check and C-class driver’s licence
