The Manager Services will oversee and coordinate the delivery of culturally safe, trauma-informed, and holistic services for Aboriginal people on Darkinjung country. This role involves leading dedicated teams, ensuring program excellence, fostering cultural connectedness, and empowering families to achieve improved health and well-being outcomes. Manager Services will collaborate with community partners, support capacity building, and uphold the values of cultural safety, responsiveness, and integrity in all aspects of service delivery.
Cultural Leadership & Community Engagement
- Ensure all service delivery is culturally safe, responsive, and trauma-informed.
- Strengthen relationships with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal agencies, stakeholders, and funding bodies.
Strategic & Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations, service delivery, and best practice standards.
- Lead program development, policy implementation, and compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor, support, and develop a high-performing, culturally competent team.
- Conduct supervision, training, and professional development to enhance team skills.
Service Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous quality improvement (CQI) and ensure services align with community needs.
- Monitor case management processes, client outcomes, and program effectiveness.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management
- Build strong networks with key government, health, and community organisations.
- Advocate for policy change and systemic improvements to benefit Aboriginal families.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure safety protocols, risk assessments, and WHS compliance are in place.
- Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and documentation to meet contractual obligations.
Advocacy & Cultural Empowerment
- Promote cultural connectedness and self-determination within service delivery.
- Champion community-led initiatives that empower Aboriginal families.
