Yalari is a not-for-profit organisation that offers quality, secondary education scholarships at leading Australian boarding schools for Indigenous children from regional, rural and remote communities.

We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer with 3+ years experience to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have experience creating engaging social media campaigns and online content; designing websites and landing pages, producing print materials, collateral and merchandise; creating templates and shells for internal documentation; and designing within branding guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative concepts and designs for various marketing activities, including but not limited to: brochures, flyers, social media graphics, video and photography content, email campaigns, internal templates and business support documentation, website and landing page design.
  • Collaborate within the marketing team to ensure the creative execution is on-brand and communicates its key message effectively.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends and software updates to ensure designs are modern, accessible and relevant.
  • Maintain the job management and workflow processes ensuring work is carried out efficiently.

Applicant requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptable and flexibly minded in their approach to work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Organised and familiar with WIP and job management systems and processes within a design team/studio

Appointment to the position is subject to passing a mandatory working with children check and national police check. You are also required to hold an open driver’s licence.

This full-time role is required to be conducted on-site at our Helensvale headquarters. Applications to work remotely will not be accepted.
