Wyndham Community & Education Centre Inc. (Wyndham CEC) is a not-for-profit organisation established over 40 years ago. Wyndham CEC is one of Victoria’s largest Adult & Community Education providers and a leader in supporting people and communities to make positive changes for their future. Wyndham CEC offers quality community programs and education opportunities to vulnerable young people and adults across western Melbourne. In particular, Wyndham CEC works closely with individuals from refugee backgrounds through settlement services, community projects and English language programs.

Duties include:

  • Onboarding and off boarding of staff
  • Maintaining staff records
  • Preparation of staff contracts
  • Motivate and promote staff wellbeing
  • Active member of OH&S team

We are looking for someone with:

  • HR qualification and experience
  • Experience with HR Management Systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Modern awards and National Employment Standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office suite
  • Independently managing time, prioritising and planning work to meet set timelines
  • Driver’s license
  • OH&S qualification or experience
