We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our leadership team in a new position as the Great South Coast (GSC) Alcohol & Other Drug (AOD) Team Leader. WRAD provides a comprehensive evidenced based range of services with a focus on helping people on their journey towards recovery.

Based in Warrnambool, and covering the Great South Coast catchment including Portland we have the following position: 

Great South Coast AOD Team Leader.

The GSC AOD Team Leader will lead the AOD clinical teams across southwest Victoria. This is a new partnership between WRAD and Portland District Health.  This position will provide clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team which provides a full range of AOD services.  A salary up to 95,000 and includes provision of a salary packaging benefit, a vehicle for private use, and 5.1 weeks annual leave, is available and will be based on the skills and experience of the successful applicant and a generous relocation package is available.

Position Overview:

  • This role promotes best practice outcomes for clients.
  • The role oversees the delivery of a professional AOD service by providing appropriate leadership, levels of support and supervision to counselling staff.
  • The GSC AOD Team Leader will not have a direct clinical caseload.
  • Capacity building and growth of the team as well networking are key tasks required in this position.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • A relevant health related tertiary qualification is desired.
  • A Diploma in Alcohol and Other Drugs is desired.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team of clinicians in the provision of alcohol and other drug services to a diverse client group.
