About the role

We are looking for an experienced worker to fill our Multicultural AOD Prevention Program Coordinator role. This would suit a health promotion, social worker, human services or allied health professional with experience in AOD work. Part-time position 3 days per week until June 2026.

This role requires experience and creativity as you will be developing and implementing a new multicultural AOD prevention program through co-design. The Program Coordinator will lead and implement the following activities:

• an evidence-based co-design and community consultation phase
• community engagement and health promotion activities
• train Multicultural Peer Support Workers (MPSWs)
• undertake capacity building activities with existing AOD services in Brisbane
• implement evaluation activities with the funding body.
