About the opportunity

The Program Manager Transition to Work (TtW) will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the TtW and Inclusive Pathways to Employment (IPE) staff. They will be expected to motivate, guide and develop program staff whilst working closely with the Regional Manager to track performance and ensure delivery of a coherent and integrated service to both young people and employers. The Program Manager TtW contributes to the development and implementation of Business Unit strategies, plans, performance and revenue targets and policies and practices.

Being a TTW Program Manager involves:

Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Implement the program's business plans including the management and allocation of assets, human and other resources to achieve operational and financial objectives
  • Ensure delivery of contracts within a region occurs in accordance with contractual requirements and organisational policy
  • Establish and maintain systems of internal audit processes to identify any compliance issues
  • Develop networks and relationships with potential employers, community organisations and government agencies and establish and sustain new business opportunities to meet growth and community needs
  • Participate in the development of the program's operational budget and resource allocation recommendations and provide regular budget reports
  • Reporting - provide comprehensive reporting of regional performance, activities, risks and significant events

About You:

  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, motivate, and build rapport with staff to achieve positive results
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, liaise and consult with a wide range of stakeholders including clients, government and non-government organisations, and ability to facilitate groups
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Windows, MS Office Suite, Internet and Information Management systems
