About the opportunity

The National Finance Manager will manage a team of staff, ensure the efficient and effective day to day operations of the Finance Department, will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial management systems and processes, and will oversee the preparation of financial analyses and reports to the Executive Management Team, Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors. 

With flexibility regarding the location, there is an opportunity to work within our offices and from home.

Being a National Finance Manager involves:

Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Day to day management of finance department staff
  • Oversee and control budget and cost centre allocations
  • Cash flow management, including short-term forecasting
  • Oversee and contribute to month/quarter/year end processes, reporting and lodgements
  • Assist CFO with financial audit preparation, program acquittal audits and reports and compilation of annual reports. 

About You:

The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible, process-driven, and detail orientated. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders. You will have a high level of analytical and financial thinking and be tech-savvy. You will have a willingness to help and learn, and be a team player.

  • You will have strong experience from an accounting or finance role and a high degree of knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and practices.
