WorkLawyers is an applicant-focused small firm, comprising 2 solicitors and 3 paralegal staff. We mainly do employment law but also do some general advice and litigation matters.

We are looking for an admitted solicitor with at least 1 years PQE or with a similar or higher level of advocacy experience in the employment law sector. You will assist and take carriage of matters in our existing caseload, mainly in the FWC, HRC, FCFCA Div 2, FCA ,   NSWIRC and ICNSW.

The position is offered on a casual or part-time basis 2-3 days per week plus regular extra hours to manage peaks in work and with a view to converting to full-time down the track.

We offer an informal and collaborative culture without a dress code, billable hour budgets or massive egos.

We are looking for someone who can handle swearing in the office, dealing with competing and occasionally crushing deadlines, and the big-end of town lawyers without too much angst.

If you work well in a fast-paced environment, where you will be expected to know your stuff (sooner rather than later) and get outcomes for clients without drama, this role is for you.
