Education & Training Administration Officer

Women's Legal Service NSW

About the Role

The Education & Training Administration Officer is a key support role in the newly established Education, Training and Engagement Team at Women’s Legal Service NSW.

This Team creates and delivers legal education to improve legal literacy and support systems change. We deliver training to community organisations, allied professionals, workplaces, and the broader public on legal issues affecting women - drawing on the real-world insights of our solicitors and the expertise of our curriculum and content creators and training specialists.

As the Education & Training Administration Officer, you’ll help turn complex legal content into accessible, well-organised learning experiences. You’ll coordinate training requests, manage bookings and logistics, and support the team to deliver high-quality, accessible legal education across NSW.

This is a great role for someone who is organised, responsive, tech-savvy, and passionate about gender justice. You’ll be part of a collaborative and values-driven team working to make the law more accessible and equitable for women and gender-diverse people.

Your Role in the Team

As the first point of contact for education and training enquiries, you’ll be responsible for making sure the work of the team runs smoothly and that our delivery is well-organised, and well-attended.

You’ll work closely with:

  • Curriculum and content creators, who design training that meets adult education standards
  • Solicitors, who lead the research and development of training materials
  • Solicitors and Trainers, who deliver training across NSW
  • External stakeholders, including community organisations, professional associations, and training partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating incoming training requests from community organisations, workplaces, and professional bodies.
  • Managing platforms and systems for online training, including registrations, access links, and basic tech support for participants and presenters.
  • Promoting training opportunities by email, on social media, and third-party platforms.
  • Organising training logistics, such as scheduling, managing trainer availability, booking venues, and arranging travel and accommodation for staff.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure training materials are prepared, up-to-date, and accessible.
  • Keeping accurate training records, managing participant communication, and supporting evaluation and feedback processes.
  • Providing general administrative support to the Team, including general research and scheduling.

You’ll be joining an organisation that values lived experience, intersectional feminism, and strong relationships with community. Your work will help ensure our training reaches the people who need it - and supports systemic change for women across the legal, human right/social justice, social services, civil society and business sectors.
