Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN) is currently seeking a motivated individual who has a passion for primary healthcare and community wellbeing.
The WNSW PHN funds a range of health services and programs to improve access to care and better health for our communities.
The Primary Care Coordinator is responsible for various activities to support the COVID 19 management project work.
The position can be based in any one of our offices including, Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst or Broken Hill.

The salary for this position is Level 3, Grade 3 ($93,125 + superannuation).
Selection Criteria
Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications in health, social sciences or health management.
- Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal culture including a commitment to cultural awareness and safety.
- Demonstrated experience in working in health-related project management roles.
- Demonstrated project management experience and organisational skills and a track-record of taking initiative and meeting timelines with limited supervision.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking, demonstrated ability to contribute to the selection, commissioning, reporting and evaluation of health programs and initiatives.
- Understanding of primary health care in a regional/rural setting, or the ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge.
- Capacity to travel within western NSW; hold a current driver’s licence.
Desirable:
- Stakeholder engagement experience, and the ability to maintain stakeholder relationships in challenging circumstances.
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
- Proven contributor to high performing teams with the ability to coordinate activities and prioritise workload.
- Experience working in the health, NGO or community services sectors.
- Experience in working with Aboriginal people, organisations and communities in view of planning and implementing services and achieving outcomes for Aboriginal people.
