Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN) is currently seeking motivated individuals who have a passion for primary healthcare and community wellbeing. 

The Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN) funds a range of health services and programs to improve access to care and better health for our communities. 

The Contracts & Procurement Business Partner is responsible for supporting the management of contracting processes and leases within the business including procurement and tendering.

This includes, providing advice to staff on achieving good practice for all legal best practice and strategy whilst building corporate capability in contract administration, compliance, governance and management.

The position can be based in any one of our offices including, Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst or Broken Hill.

Selection Criteria

Essential

  • Bachelor level degree qualification in commercial law, or Bachelor level degree in business / commerce and a relevant graduate diploma (law / contracting / procurement).
  • Relevant experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, and procurement processes including tendering.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing quality business documents, including plans, reports, briefing papers and senior level correspondence.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpersonal, consultation, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven high level attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to travel within Western NSW; hold a current driver’s licence. 

Desirable

  • Proven ability to provide timely, integrated and strategic advice and to develop and implement innovative solutions to address significant organisational issues.
  • Experience working in the health, NGO or community services sectors 
  • Experience in working with Aboriginal people, organisations and communities in view of planning and implementing services and achieving outcomes for Aboriginal people.
