As a Peer Support Worker, you will provide Peer support to people experiencing difficulties arising from gambling, including gamblers, couples, their families, and significant others. In this role, you will also be required to provide support to the community education team and to develop and facilitate groups.
You will practice as a member of a multi-disciplinary team who plans, develops, implements, and evaluates appropriate gambling and financial counselling strategies.

In addition to base salary plus superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and access to the full $15,900 salary packaging benefits.

You may be the right person to join the GambleAware program as our Peer Support Worker. You will be able to draw on your own lived experience in providing support to clients at various stages of their own recovery journey.
