    As our People & Culture Business Partner, you will build strong relationships with our people leaders to coach, advise, guide, and enable their leadership capabilities with workforce matters.

    Putting your strong generalist HR skills to good use, you will provide strategic and operational support across the employee and volunteer lifecycle. You will guide and support change across various people elements as the organisation mobilises new programs, divests other programs, or changes operating models.

    As a single point of contact for people leaders, you will support strategic workforce planning initiatives, coach people leaders to manage employee relations matters and complex workforce issues, and conduct investigations as required. You will empower people leaders to engage with effective performance management that will create high-performing teams that have a consumer-first focus.

    What’s on offer

    We believe in flexibility and offer a combination of office based and WFH days. Face-to-face interaction on a regular weekly basis is essential, where solid partnering relationships are the cornerstone to your success in the role.  You can be located at either our Lonsdale Street, Blackburn, or Dandenong offices.

    In addition to receiving a salary ranging between $90k - $100k and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and access to the full $15,900 salary packaging benefits.

    There is also the option to increase your annual leave entitlements through our purchased leave program, access to paid parental leave for up to 10 weeks and can receive a 10% discount on the childcare subsidy gap fee when using a Uniting Early Learning service or centre.

    You are self-reliant, think outside the box to solve problems, and have a curious mindset that sees you ask questions to understand more deeply. You thrive in an environment that enables you to dig into the HR toolbox you’ve put together through experience in a diverse range of environments and life. You feel energised when you see your people leaders' capability grow as you coach, guide, and advise them.

    You’ll also bring with you:

    • Demonstrated HR generalist experience supporting multi-site locations in all people-related activities across the employee lifecycle.
    • Strong business partnering, stakeholder engagement skills, and capability-building experience, ideally through coaching or facilitating.
    • Solid experience in Award and EA interpretation and application and coaching Leaders in resolving a broad cross-section of people-related matters.
    • Experience assisting in various change initiatives, including divestments, bringing on new services, realignment, and restructuring initiatives to enhance organisational efficiency.
    • Tertiary qualifications in human resource management or related field.
