Your new role

Help shape a welcoming after-school program for children and families in the Rushworth community.

Our OSHC service at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is new with a dedicated space and strong connection to the local school. We’re looking for a Lead Educator to continue building the program.

This role is ideal for a Diploma-qualified educator, or a Certificate III educator ready to step up while studying, who enjoys leading a small service in a supportive, community-focused setting.

You’ll coordinate the day-to-day program, planning engaging activities, supporting children’s wellbeing, building relationships with families and the school, and guiding a small team of educators.

You’ll also ensure the program aligns with My Time, Our Place and the National Quality Standards.

Your skills and experience

You will have:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (check your quals here) or Certificate III with willingness to study Diploma
• Experience working with school-aged children (OSHC, childcare, education or recreation)
• Confidence coordinating programs and supporting other educators
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Employee Working with Children Check
