About the opportunity

The Outer Gippsland Child and Family Services Alliance (OGCFS) aims to drive locally informed, collaborative systems integration and improvements for children and families to be healthy, well, connected and safe in community.

Working in partnership with Governance and Operational Groups, the Alliance Project Coordinator is responsible for:

• Ensuring relationships with Alliance member agencies are collaborative and facilitative
• Liaising with and between operational managers in Alliance agencies
• Leading the implementation and review of the Alliance Plan in consultation with relevant stakeholders
• Representing the Alliance Partnership at local and state-wide forums
• Program reporting requirements
• Other projects and tasks as required

About you

To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a tertiary qualification social work, psychology or a related discipline. Relevant post-graduate qualifications would be highly regarded.

You will also have:

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience within the child, youth and family welfare sector
• Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to scope, plan and implement projects within required timeframes and budgets
• Comprehensive understanding of the Children and Family Services Sector, including Child Protection, the requirements of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and the strategic framework and standards for the Alliance planning and oversight policy for child and family alliance policy 2019
• Proven ability to support collaborative effort within and across community based and government organisations
• Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
