WLSWA is the only gender specific community legal centre in WA, delivering services to women who are financially disadvantaged, and who live with multiple vulnerabilities that create other barriers to accessing justice.
Socio-legal assistance is tailored to ensure continuity in support and mitigate re-traumatising clients. As a specialist legal service, WLSWA works alongside and compliments generalist community legal centre work. WLSWA also promotes women’s human rights to be upheld and fosters legal and social change through a range of strategic activities, including law and policy reform.
In addition to the opportunity to join a great team, WLSWA offers flexible working arrangements, employee assistance program, targeted professional development, opportunity to salary sacrifice, and additional paid leave between Christmas and new year.
The Client Services Officer (CSO) will be employer by WLSWA.
The CSO provides administrative support and reception duties for WLSWA. This position is the first point of contact for clients and other service providers contacting the WLSWA. This position works alongside other CSOs at WLSWA and supports clients and staff as required.
The CSO must have exceptional communication skills and the ability to assist clients in a non-judgmental and compassionate manner. It is also essential that the CSO works well within a small team and under minimal supervision.
