WISE Employment (WISE) is a successful not-for-profit organisation, committed to providing quality employment, training, occupational rehabilitation and allied health services to disadvantaged members of the community through a range of programs. In addition, the WISE business includes two Social Enterprises in Victoria, NSW and Tasmania. These operate as successful businesses and provide employment for people with disabilities in the open labour market. We have an opportunity within our new WISE IDEA (Innovation Development Evaluation Application) program [CC1] .
As the Program Director within the Innovation, Mental Health and Employment (IMHE) area of WISE Employment, you will be responsible for the delivery of WISE IDEA strategic plan, providing leadership to the WISE IDEA team and overseeing the deliverables on the WISE Employment Strategic Roadmap in relation to WISE IDEA. Reporting to the Executive Steering Committee on progress and performance via the Director IMHE.
You will be responsible for successfully researching, developing, evaluating, adapting, promoting and facilitating the delivery of a range of interventions, products and services designed to assist and promote sustainable employment for people with mental health conditions. This includes program or product development for three key groups: people with mental health conditions, mental health and employment services and employers.
Successful strategies will be promoted and implemented in the WISE Ways to Work (specialist vocational rehabilitation and employment support program program for people living with mental health condition) ) and the broader WISE services where appropriate, and rolled out in mental health, NDIS and employment support sectors with grant funding or on a fee-for-service basis.
