is an award-winning graduate program co-created by WISE Employment and Australian Universities. The program is designed to assist tertiary students living with a disability, illness, mental health condition, or injury in securing graduate and entry-level employment. Our goal is to empower students by removing barriers and supporting them to find a pathway to achieve career success and well-being.

Why your role matters:

As a GradWISE Career Coach, your role is pivotal in shaping the future of students with disabilities, injuries, illnesses, or mental health conditions. By joining the GradWISE program, you will be responsible for empowering students’ career well-being through career coaching, workshops and initiatives. You will advance inclusivity and equality in the workplace by removing barriers to accessing meaningful employment opportunities. You will be making a meaningful impact that will have a profound and lasting impact on the lives of these students and the broader landscape of graduate employment.

About you:

  • Background and ability to work effectively with people living with disabilities, injuries, illnesses, or mental health conditions
  • Experience in coaching individuals and groups, assisting them in developing a portfolio of skills, knowledge, and experiences
  • Excellent communication skills, allowing you to engage with students, universities, industry partners, and external support providers
  • Effectively collaborate in the delivery of the career coaching program, workshops and initiatives designed to bolster student employability within the higher education environment.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer-centric approach, ensuring that all actions and decisions prioritise the impact on the student, consistently delivering high-quality service with empathy and compassion.
  • Enthusiastic about promoting the GradWISE program and are passionate about inclusivity and diversity
