Board Members x3 - Remote / Work From Home

Windsor Group

Work with an astute CEO to take this worthy & financially secure NFP up to the next level in its strategic growth plan.

  • With the worst of 2021 behind it, this NFP is on the move again
  • Looking for: 3 x dynamic, roundly experienced Directors with explicit skills
  • Apply from anywhere in Australia. Board meetings are virtual

A charitable, commercially sound enterprise that still puts people before profit.

This well run and financially sound NFP operates on the Sunshine Coast where it provides disability, health and human services to help individuals with a disability (and their families) to live the best possible lives.

With two years of ‘Covid uncertainty’ now dealt with, this unstoppable service provider is ready to progress strategic growth that is orchestrated around its core offerings. Committed to meeting both the known and untapped needs of its local community, it is poised to adapt and change its existing business models and programs for better returns in terms of both business and social impact.

To effect this change and transformation, it will first need to extend the scope of its Board with three new Directors who bring specific proven skills into the group dynamic.

This special expertise will be additional to the strong governance, financial, business, communications, networking and marketing capabilities expected from all contemporary Board Directors in roles that impact directly on people’s lives.

The additional competencies required — singularly or in combination are:

  • Familiarity with non-profit/charitable organisations
  • The knowledge common to a legal practitioner
  • Accounting and/or financial management
  • Commercial business acumen
  • And a consumer perspective gained through the experience of living with disability — either in the first person or as a carer.

Any further expertise around ICT, particularly automation of payments and reconciliation, and risk management will also be warmly welcomed. As will be a healthy record in the areas of change management, transformation and the development of diversified revenue streams.

These important Directorships are honorary (at the present time) although travel and other expenses are reimbursed. However, the status of these voluntary Board roles and the reliance on technology for Board meetings may be subject to change as business everywhere regroups in the coming year.

If you would like to be a part of its growth and transformation, please submit your cover letter and your resume in WORD format quoting reference number KJYBLD via the Apply Now link.

For any questions please contact Dylys Bertelsen or Kaye Jeffers on 07 3211 0001.
