This well run and financially sound NFP operates on the Sunshine Coast where it provides disability, health and human services to help individuals with a disability (and their families) to live the best possible lives.
With two years of ‘Covid uncertainty’ now dealt with, this unstoppable service provider is ready to progress strategic growth that is orchestrated around its core offerings. Committed to meeting both the known and untapped needs of its local community, it is poised to adapt and change its existing business models and programs for better returns in terms of both business and social impact.
To effect this change and transformation, it will first need to extend the scope of its Board with three new Directors who bring specific proven skills into the group dynamic.
This special expertise will be additional to the strong governance, financial, business, communications, networking and marketing capabilities expected from all contemporary Board Directors in roles that impact directly on people’s lives.
The additional competencies required — singularly or in combination are:
Any further expertise around ICT, particularly automation of payments and reconciliation, and risk management will also be warmly welcomed. As will be a healthy record in the areas of change management, transformation and the development of diversified revenue streams.
These important Directorships are honorary (at the present time) although travel and other expenses are reimbursed. However, the status of these voluntary Board roles and the reliance on technology for Board meetings may be subject to change as business everywhere regroups in the coming year.
