We are currently seeking 2 self-motivated and passionate Residential Supervisors to join our team.

We have two full time (38 Hours per week) opportunities for SCHADS level 5 ($93,860 per year). We have 1 opportunity each at the following locations: Rosebery and Pagewood. The Residential Supervisor will be responsible for leading a Supported Independent Living Home, in a hands-on and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to Participants in alignment with their current care requirements and support plans.
  • Provide assistance to Participants in the event of a medical emergency and where applicable attend the hospital and liaise with the family.
  • Ensure monitoring and reporting on Participants progress is completed regularly.
  • Working with Participants to implement support plan and assist them achieve their individual goals.
  • Actively seek to understand the people we support and engage with community to create meaningful relationships.
  • Ensure that people with an intellectual or physical disability will, with the support they need to maintain self-care skills already achieved, have the opportunity to develop new skills and competencies and to participate in the community.
  • Promote and support clients to access connections and networking opportunities outside of the service system, aligned with individual goals.
  • Effective workforce planning and rostering of team members.
  • Ensure all employees are up to date with changes in participant care requirements.
  • Managing performance and development of employees through ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance reviews.
  • Induction of new team members including compliance with on boarding procedures.
  • Financial management of operational site budget and monitoring of spending trends.
  • Liaising with other providers regarding participants accessing dual services to ensure effective cross-service delivery.
  • Liaising with participant families regarding visits, medical needs and other day to day issues.
  • Ensuring participants have access to appropriate medical treatment in coordination with all key stakeholders – internal and external.

Essential Criteria:

  • Diploma Qualified or higher plus at least 2 years’ relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in supervising/ leading a team of employees.
  • Experience dealing with behaviours of concern and the ability to mentor staff in this area.
  • Must Have Valid Drivers Licence.
  • Must Have NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Must Have Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
