Are you an experienced community services worker who is passionate about providing specialist support to victims of family violence to empower and provide a space that is safe, inclusive and trauma informed to support survivors of family violence to live independently and free from violence? Our Family Violence, Homelessness and Therapeutic Services program is excited to have a very rare opportunity to join our high performing and dedicated team. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate family violence practitioner for our Rapid Response - Family Violence role.
The Rapid Response worker will be responsible of the delivery of Rapid Response/Crisis Response functions of the program area and provide interim support to rapidly respond to victim survivors in crisis and those with immediate comfort and safety needs
This role is a permanent full-time opportunity, and as part of Windermere flexible ways of working a 9-day fortnight can be applied. This really is a truly rewarding opportunity for someone with a professional background in working with victims of Family Violence.

Key Selection Criteria:
Our Family Violence, Homelessness and Therapeutic Services program is excited to have a very rare opportunity to join our high performing and dedicated team. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate family violence practitioner for our Rapid Response - Family Violence role.
This is a newly created role that will join our current team to provide high level support to victim survivors in crisis and those with immediate comfort, safety and therapeutic needs via the provision of risk assessment and management, safety planning, brief intervention support and internal/external referrals to address their identified support needs. This role will also support victim survivors to directly link with therapeutic supports including family violence and sexual assault counselling.
Candidates who have related community services experience are welcome to apply, although family violence risk assessment and management experience would be advantageous.
