For over 30 years the organisation has been providing specialist holistic and client-focused recovery services. Clients choose, depending where they are in the recovery process, from a range of supportive community based and residential programs that are delivered in a safe, supported and caring environment.

The Youth Residential Withdrawal Service is a 6 bed residential facility located in Dandenong and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. The youth withdrawal unit offers a homelike environment for supported withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs. This may include medical and non-medical withdrawal and pharmacotherapy.

The Program Coordinator is an experienced health professional responsible for the day to day operation of the Windana Youth Community House (WYCH).

The Program Coordinator has general oversight of the operations of the program and shall ensure that interdisciplinary practice is safe and efficient, contemporary and maintains standards of care in accordance with Windana’s policy and procedure framework.

The purpose of the role is to lead, direct and coordinate interdisciplinary care for clients from referral through assessment, admission and discharge. 

Qualifications required: Current registration as a Health or Welfare Worker or equivalent experience in Leadership Roles. Minimum Cert IV in AOD. Desirable is Senior First Aid certificate

This is a full time position, salary SCHADS Level 6 plus super plus optional salary packaging. Evidence of qualifications must be provided at interview and all preferred candidates are subject to a National Police Check and Working With Children Check.
