Coastrek has inspired and empowered over 60,000 women to walk the stunning coastlines of Sydney, Mornington Peninsula, Sunshine Coast, Fleurieu Peninsula and Margaret River whilst raising nearly $50 million dollars for charity.

The Role

This is primarily a Coastrek sales and service role focused on managing and building strong relationships with multiple corporates, partners, customers and stakeholders. You will need to be an exceptional connector and customer service leader supporting our customer service team and workload as required to optimise our trekker experience.

You will be responsible for our Coastrek partnerships, corporate teams and supporting customer service, maximising registration and participation opportunities, collaborations, community engagement, industry liaison – building long term and mutually beneficial relationships aligned to the purpose, vision and mission of Wild Women on Top Coastrek.

(This role involves some events which take place out of hours or on weekends. There are times you are required to work outside of normal working hours/on weekends to fulfil the role. This role involves travel interstate approximately 3-5 times a year)

Reporting lines

You will report directly to the General Manager and support the client services coordinators who work part time

Key responsibilities

Corporates and Partners

  • Work with the General Manager, CEO and other key internal stakeholders to develop and WWOT’s strategic approach to Coastrek corporate and partnerships.
  • Build and develop new business partnerships and relationships with current and prospective corporates and partners – via phone, email, electronically and face to face.
  • Work to agreed goals for corporates and partnerships and delivery which includes developing quarterly goals and implementation plans, reviewing and reporting results.
  • Tracking and maintaining engagement with potential corporates and partners in our CRM.
  • Sculpt proposal packages including long term corporate and partnership proposals and present to groups both to sell and communicate Wild Women on Top’s opportunities.
  • Communicate and negotiate with clients within local, state and national organisations.
  • Work with Wild Women on Top’s preferred charity partners to leverage and maximise engagement with their current partners.
  • Customer Service and Coastrek Events
  • Take a hands on approach to customer service from time to time as required during busy periods
  • Manage partnerships, corporates and customer service engagement on event days and in the lead up as needed.
  • Work with the Event team and ensure delivery of key event focussed tasks are managed efficiently
  • Support the Customer Service delivery and work with the customer service team in relation to existing Coastrek trekker and corporate team registrations and members of the Wild Women on Top community.

Key requirements to succeed

  • Alignment with the purpose, vision and mission of Wild Women on Top Coastrek.
  • Experience in corporate engagement and sales, achieving associated team targets.
  • Experience in managing corporate partnerships portfolios and client relationships.
  • A highly collaborative and proven team leader with strong people skills and ability to work with a team.
  • Extremely passionate about delivering the highest quality of service to clients and representing the brand to the best of your ability.
  • Confident with excellent strategic research, pitch and presentation skills focussed on the client’s needs
  • Skill and experience in developing creative, collaborative and customised solutions for partners and corporates alike
  • Ability to communicate effectively, listen and problem solve with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A network developer and influencer, experienced in stakeholder management.
  • Available to work some weekends and evenings aligning to our event calendar (this may involve interstate travel to key events 3-5 times a year)
  • Valid Driver’s licence and right to live and work in Australia.
  • Advanced computer software and content management system skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant tertiary education
  • 5+ years experience in related role

Employment terms

  • This is a permanent, full-time role (preferred and negotiable to part time for right candidate)

  • Flexible working- 3 core days in Brookvale office/ 2 days remote preferred
  • Option of a 9 day condensed working hours fortnight post 3 months employment
