Counterpart is a free and confidential service of Women's Health Victoria (WHV) and connects, supports and informs women living with cancer to live well.
We are seeking a fantastic Peer Support Coordinator, to work closely with our Volunteers and Peer Support Team to assist in coordination of peer support services in Counterpart’s Resource Centre and at hospitals through our Bridge of Support Service, including but not limited to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, Sunshine Hospital, and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

WHV is a statewide, feminist, not-for-profit leading the pursuit of gender equity in health. We work with government, the health sector and the community to create better health outcomes for women (cis and trans inclusive) and gender diverse people.

The Peer Support Coordinator will work closely with our Counterpart staff, Peer Support Volunteers and stakeholders to coordinate our peer support services for women living with cancer in Victoria. This includes providing a welcoming, relevant, and safe service to better support all women living with cancer in Victoria, increasing our reach!
This role will support our Peer Support Volunteers to provide peer support and information at several locations, including in the Resource Centre and through the Bridge of Support service at hospitals such as the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, Sunshine Hospital, and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
