Funny name, serious business

We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to provide clean water and help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. So far, we’ve contributed over $11.22 million AUD (roughly $7.5 million USD) to fund sanitation projects around the globe. Basically, we’re really good at doing good.

With hubs in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, UK and Europe, our amazing team of 200+ work to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next couple of years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services.

A bit about the role

Better yet, we are building teams to support the future demands of our business, and we’re looking for our first-ever Senior Talent Lead to help pave the way.

As Senior Talent Lead, you’ll support the design, direction and success of our recruitment strategy, managing its execution across all touch points and supporting your fantastic team of Talent Leads to do the same. You’ll champion a consistently delightful candidate experience that leaves those who apply inspired to join our Talent community and deliver every searches that upholds our people first principles for all involved. Your support enables Talent to continuously design memorable career opportunities that increasingly expand the diversity and representation of our team.

If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in:

  • Supported our Talent Leads to balance their crapacity, inspiring them to deliver an amazing experience to all candidates
  • Scanned our dashboard from the past quarter to see how we did and spent time with our Global Talent Director to plan resourcing for the quarter ahead
  • Partnering with your People Experience (PX) peers by jumping on a call with a candidate who was keen to explore our benefits in more detail, diving deep to understand the ins and outs of our healthcare offering
  • Brainstormed on our latest initiatives with our Hiring & Representation taskforce in the DEI Council
  • Spent time with our Talent Community Coordinator to find out more about our most successful talent sources, brainstorm new job boards and augment our sourcing workflow plus had conversations to onboard our newest recruitment partner
  • Dug deep into the data and sharing this with the Talent team, to spot opportunities for improvement
  • Worked alongside our PX, IT Ops and Planning & Comms team and hiring managers deliver a delightful onboarding experience to 5 new team members
  • Thought about our Executive Hiring process, how it can evolve to support our global scale up journey, and how it can leverage and embed our new Role Family Framework

Quite literally, you are constantly (and exceptionally!) nailing the juggling act of executing on our hiring needs while infusing moments of human-y surprise and delight throughout. It’s an art we don’t take lightly! You take pride in supporting efficient time to hire with timely communication and personable touch points, and you know that the key to this success lies in having sound processes as the foundation.

You’re also looking beyond active candidates and internal talent - you see equal value in actively promoting employer brand visibility with creativity and thoughtful strategy in order to increase excitement and employment interest in both active and passive external talent. Not only that, you’re constantly and consistently supporting our Hiring Managers to keep on the front foot of the process and looking ahead. Phew!

Great candidate experiences are always top of mind for you and you have great ideas in mind that make sure they're in the know no matter what stage they're in. Whether you are supporting one of your team members in managing a tricky candidate communication challenge, rolling up your sleeves to work closely alongside a new hiring manager when your team’s capacity is at its max, or your digging deep to understand the Talent data, you are the constant champion of our candidate experience.

You know that knowledge = power

You have Talent Acquisition best practices ingrained in you, but you’re always ready to take a step back, think a little bigger, and partner with the team to improve a process or approach when it feels “dusty” or out of line with our values. You’re also a secret data nerd, and you inspire the team to do the same in their reflection practice as you know tracking Talent metrics is the key to continuous improvement and the foundation for informed new initiatives. You roll model insight sharing and collaboration amongst the Talent Team to ensure we’re levelling up and delivering consistent experiences to our candidates and hiring managers.

You keep meaningful momentum

With your candidate experiences and talent best practices in mind, know just how to navigate those all important pause moments, and have just the right tweaks that will make all the difference to a search. The learning from that goes into maintaining milestones and gathering pace with each subsequent search that goes live. To help things along, for the next set of roles, you jump in elbow to elbow for role design, homework or interview design moments to make sure things kick off with everyone aligned.

Your leadership qualities shine! You champion our business values like your own, show up for your team authentically and consistently.

You are a whizz when it comes to building and maintaining your team’s roadmaps to demonstrate the pathway to the future, and lead the goal-setting process for your own team and contribute the company-wide planning with Talent objectives as your primary lens. You consistently share your Talent expertise to level up your team and peers on all things Talent strategy, operations and execution, but also you know those moments to sit back and give your team the space to shine with their own developed approach.
