White Box Enterprises (WBE) is working with social enterprises across Australia to create 5,000 jobs by 2030 for Australia’s overlooked and underserved jobseekers. We do this by building and supporting others to build large-scale, social enterprises that provide meaningful, award-wage jobs, for to people who are excluded from the mainstream employment market.
Our work is supported through commercial activity and various Governments and philanthropists, increasingly we play a critical role in advocating to government in order to create an environment that supports the establishment and growth of these incredible organisations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a true HR generalist to make their next career move, joining a rapidly scaling, for-good organisation to continue to build out the HR function.
The position is hands-on, and we’re looking for someone who can easily (and happily!) pivot from day-to-day detailed operations to strategic HR activities and initiatives. This means you’ll be involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, and with a wide range of projects including implementing our new HRIS (Elmo), supporting recruitment across various teams, bringing our EVP to life, and developing and executing the HR strategy in line with the organisation’s strategic goals.
We need someone who can think outside the box and understand our unique environment. The role is strategic and operational and requires someone who can work at both levels.
You’ll bring experience from similar senior roles in fast-paced environments. You’ll be a strategic thinker with a collaborative leadership style.
