• 22.5 hours per week (parental leave cover - available until mid Nov 2020)

Women’s Health East is a women’s health promotion agency based in Doncaster East, working across the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne. Women’s Health East’s vision is equality, empowerment, health and wellbeing for all women. Our key priorities are to advance gender equality, prevent violence against women, and improve women’s sexual and reproductive health.

In fulfilling this position you will play a key role in leading the sexual and reproductive health priority as well as be involved in projects and initiatives across our other priorities. These tasks will vary over time. Currently they include:

• Leading the development of a Regional Sexual and Reproductive Health Strategy
• Leading the regional SRH Strategic Reference Group to coordinate to facilitate coordinated regional SRH activities

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• Health promotion expertise
• Up to date knowledge and experience in the promotion of women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Flexibility and commitment to working within an intersectional feminist framework
