Board of Governance vacancy

To be eligible to apply for Women’s Health East’s Board of Governance you must:

• Identify as a woman
• Be over the age of 18 years
• Live, work or study in Melbourne's eastern region, which includes the local government areas of the Yarra Ranges, Knox, Maroondah, Manningham, Monash, Whitehorse and Boroondara.
• Be a member of Women's Health East. Membership is free and you can join here

Women’s Health East seeks women who are highly committed to the vision and priorities of the organisation. We are seeking women to join our Board who preferably have previous governance experience, and who ideally have completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course or similar.

We are currently seeking applicants with qualifications, skills and experience in:

• Commercial Law (highly desirable)
• Business Development (fee for service, philanthropy)
• Technology innovation (e.g. AI)
• Health & Community Sector.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, women with disability, women from culturally diverse backgrounds, and LGBTIQ women including trans and gender diverse people who identify as women are strongly encouraged to apply.
