The Women’s Housing Company (WHC) Limited is a registered charity and Tier 1 Community Housing Provider managing over 1200 properties providing housing, accommodation and support services for women and children across Sydney, the Hunter and Coffs Harbour.
At WHC we provide housing and homelessness services to single women and women with children in NSW.
Last year, we housed almost 1,700 women and children, as well as supported over 300 homeless women. We have a particular focus on addressing the housing needs of older women, women with children, and women who have experienced domestic and family violence.

The Team Leader Repairs is responsible for ensuring that all responsive, vacant minor, planned minor and cyclical maintenance works are completed in line with contracted requirements, budget, procurement, safety, quality standards set by the business, timeframes and other relevant legal and legislative standards.
Drive and deliver exceptional customer service to all tenants of the Women’s Housing Company (WHC) by leading a team of Asset Officers responsible for repairs and maintenance.
The Team Leader Repairs supports the General Manager Asset Management & Growth with tenant consultation, administration & financial management, document management, contractor management & performance, onsite works scoping & validation, compliance and provides advice to the Customer Service and Housing Services Teams.
Talent Acquisition and Team Leadership
Assist to drive the company culture and performance through effective management and leadership practices that attracts and retains high quality staff, manages performance and develops employee capability.
Customers & Communities Engagement
Support WHC to provide exceptional customer service by actioning escalated responsive maintenance requests, identifying systemic issues and undertaking consultation and communication with tenants and the Property and Housing Services teams.
Cyclical Maintenance
Support the delivery of quality homes to our tenants by providing support to the General Manager Asset Management & Growth for the implementation of the cyclical program.
Vacant / Void Maintenance
Support WHC to maintain strong financial performance by managing the vacant works program and minimising vacancy times.
Contractor Management & Performance
Administer contractor performance and compliance obligations and keeping accurate and timely records on contractors in the relevant systems. Manage monthly meeting cadances.
Financial Management
Lead and oversee financial budget, forecasting of responsive, vacant and cyclical maintenance programs. Ensure audit and validation checks by WHC that contractors meet building codes, standards and WHS requirements.
Laws, Regulations and Standards
Ensure that WHC meets its statutory and legislative obligations by maintaining strict adherence to WHS, the National Regulatory System and workplace policies and procedures.
WHC Impactful Advocacy
Increase the profile and reputation of the Women’s Housing Company.
