Wildlife Health Australia (WHA) is the coordinating body for wildlife health in Australia, and initially began as a national initiative of the Australian Government in 2002 [1]. WHA operates a virtual office and offers the flexibility of remote working arrangements.
WHA works with a network of government and private stakeholders across Australia to develop strong partnerships in order to better manage the adverse effects of wildlife diseases on Australia’s animal health industries, human health, biodiversity, trade and tourism. WHA participates in surveillance, investigation, monitoring, research and recording of wildlife disease events. WHA helps protect Australia’s trade, human health, biodiversity and tourism.
WHA is seeking a motivated Administration Assistant to join our team on a fixed term, part-time basis (22.8 hours per week). We are looking for someone excited to be involved with various areas across the organisation including human resources, internet and communication technology, financial processes, travel & event coordination plus much more. This role is pivotal to the success of the organisation, as it provides crucial administrative function and support for the whole team.
