The Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA/Agency) is the Australian Government’s key agency charged with promoting and improving gender equality in Australian workplaces, through the provision of advice and assistance to employers and the assessment and measurement of workplace gender data. Our Agency was established by the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Act).

We are looking for experienced data professionals to join our growing team in the following roles:
Senior Data Scientist (EL1): In this role, you will work closely with our research and communications teams to uncover trends and insights from our datasets. You will use these to contribute to publications that inspire employers and policymakers to improve fairness and safety in Australian workplaces. This role will suit someone with strong technical capability, a creative analytical mindset, and a passion for translating data into engaging stories.
Data & Analytics Manager (EL1): In this role, you will combine your leadership, technical, and project management skills to deliver major data initiatives. You’ll coordinate the development of dashboards, reports, and data products, ensuring information is accessible, actionable, and aligned with strategic goals. You’ll help drive a culture of data-driven decision-making, innovation, and continuous improvement.
