About the Team

The School of Law is committed to excellence and innovation in teaching, research and community engagement. It has a research focus on Public and Constitutional law, Human rights, Health law, and Social Justice issues. It also has a strong clinical legal education program based in the Justice Clinic.

Established in 1995, the School has quickly grown as an institution preparing some of the best legal minds in the profession. Over the past 20 years we have developed our Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Programs to focus on practical, professional training and active student participation in the community. We also offer a Juris Doctor (JD) program and Masters of Law. Our courses are a unique alternative to more traditional law schools, giving our students real-world experience.

Our remarkable academic team is dedicated to educating our students to meet the undoubted challenges of the 21st Century and technology potential.

About the Role

We are seeking a forward thinking, dynamic, and innovative scholar to take on a senior leadership role at the level of Professor within the School of Law.

The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate leadership in the School’s programs and a range of academic activities in the relevant discipline area and within the School. The appointee will be expected to conduct and lead significant research and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in their area of expertise. Additionally, the appointee will encourage interdisciplinary collaboration among existing faculty to leverage our intellectual capital, while building strong research teams and networks both internally and externally. The successful candidate will be committed to collegiality and working within a team including taking on leadership in service and governance.

To be considered, you will have PhD qualifications, as well as demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and a strong record in service and governance.

This is a full-time, ongoing position based at the Parramatta South Campus, with the flexibility to travel to other campuses as required.

Remuneration Package: Academic Level E $243,832 to $252,318 p.a. (comprising Salary of $206,995 to $214,248 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
