The School of Social Sciences and Psychology offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including research programs that combine advanced academic knowledge with real-life training to suit a range of career needs and interests in the following disciplines; Geography and Urban Studies; Anthropology, Sociology, Criminology; Humanitarian and Development Studies; Community Welfare and Social Work; Heritage and Tourism Studies; Therapy Studies; Policing and Psychology.
The Postdoctoral Fellow will oversee, coordinate, and manage a research program on migration and health (NHMRC and ARC funded) while collaborating on other existing projects.
The successful candidate will need demonstrate experience in project management, stakeholders mobilisation and engagement, and working within a multi-disciplinary team. They will be involved in a suite of complex projects, including the design and analysis of mixed methods studies, hence will be expected to be able to use a range of research methods: systematic reviews and meta-analysis/meta-ethnography, randomised controlled trials, multi-level modelling, establishing data management systems as well as qualitative methods such as interviews, focus groups and ethnographic studies.
This position will focus predominantly on research using mixed methods funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council and the Australian Research Council.
This is a Full-time, Fixed-Term for a period of 2.5 years based at our Penrith Campus.

Remuneration Package: Academic Level A $94,879 to $114,628 p.a. (comprising Salary of $80,174 to $96,862 p.a., plus 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading).
