About the Role

The School of Social Sciences is seeking a highly motivated, experienced and skilled Clinic Coordinator, WSU Community Clinics to join their team.

The Clinic Coordinator, WSU Community Clinics is a critical position that provides exceptional administrative and operational support for the management of the WSU Community Clinics. The Clinic Coordinator reports to the School Manager and takes guidance from the Clinic Lead.

This position will play a key role in maintaining good clinical governance of the Community Clinics. The Clinic Coordinator will support and enhance training and client services provided at the WSU Community Clinics. The role primarily entails provision of site-specific clinical supervision to counselling trainees, ensuring good-practice guidelines for client care are followed by trainees, and assisting in implementing clinical services coordination across the WSU Community Clinics.

Skills and Experiences

The successful candidate will have PACFA, ACA or APHRA approved supervisor with at least five years of supervisory experience, extensive clinical experience in a wide range of presenting psychological and social issues for diverse client groups and expertise in excellence in clinical supervision and training with demonstrated leadership and extensive experience in exercising initiative, accountability and high-level problem-solving skills in a team environment.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 8 $72,527 to $80,513 p.a. (comprising Salary of $61,286 to $68,034 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)

Please note, the above salary range is based on 0.6 of the full-time equivalent.

It is a mandatory requirement for any incumbent of this position to have a current NSW employee working with children clearance in accordance with the NSW Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
