Well Creative Minds offers psychosocial/mental health support services for NDIS participants of all ages in Sydney, the Blue Mountains and surrounding areas. Well Creative Minds is a young, unique and evolving niche provider. Our Organisation continues to grow organically due to word of mouth as a result of the quality of people we attract on our team and the sought after niche services we provide. We are looking to expand our wonderful support team (both male and female) in Sydney, and Blue Mountains areas.
We provide a holistic and integrative client-focused approach different to many other larger providers. Our support workers receive ongoing peer support and supervision, as well as admin support. And due to increasing client demand, we are looking to expand our team to work with our participants who have a range of psychosocial disabilities, and/or mental health challenges from helping them engage in the community to helping them build their confidence and social skills.
We currently have immediate ongoing work available (up to 15 hours/week minimum) for a male support worker within the Western Sydney and Lower Blue Mountains area to start immediately with the potential to increase hours for the right candidate. Hours and days are flexible, however we do prioritise applicants who have a minimum of 15 hours/week available. To be successful for the interview stage, please ensure you read the entire job ad and follow the application instructions below, addressing all criteria.
While this role does not involve counselling or therapy-related work, WCM is still young and growing with opportunities for other roles in future and we are ideally looking for people who want to grow with the business. This starting position offered is suitable for someone with existing experience in the care industry or similar, is studying in a related area, or someone who is looking to add to their experience and further their skill set, working directly with people who have a range of mental health challenges and conditions.
Important: This position requires someone who has the flexibility to be available occasionally to work on short notice (when others are sick/away) and on flexible days, as well as maintain communication when not working with clients as it is a remote role, this is essential.
