About the role

We currently have a fantastic opportunity in our Client Experience division for a Support Coordinator. It is a part-time position, located at our head office in Keysborough. You will deliver support coordination services for our clients and achieve great outcomes.

You’ll need to thrive in a busy, fast paced environment and have fantastic interpersonal skills.

Days are Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 8:30am – 4:36pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Support Coordination role
  • Experience in delivering on individualised plans
  • Previous experience supporting people with disabilities and knowledge of community services
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to enable effective and appropriate interaction at all levels within the organisation and with clients including the ability to write factual and concise file notes and reports as required
  • Exceptional problem solving, analytical and evaluation skills to enable the identification of issues, analysis of options and the judgement to determine appropriate courses of action relevant to achieving positive outcomes for clients
  • A client first outlook with well-developed customer relations skills and the ability to work with a range of people to deliver high quality outcomes
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to think laterally
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Commitment to exceptional service delivery and a demonstrated professional approach to work
  • Commitment to the principles of WHS, EEO, Cultural Diversity and all relevant legislation
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Disability Support, Community Services, Individual Support or equivalent qualification

Must haves

  • Right to work in Australia
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Full Victorian driver licence
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination, including the booster (or medical exemption)
