Walalakoo Aboriginal Corporation (‘Walalakoo’) is the Registered Native Title Representative Body Corporate (RNTBC) of the Nyikina Mangala people from the Kimberley region in Derby, Western Australia.
Working in a remote, beautiful, and affordable part of the Kimberley in Western Australia, Walalakoo Aboriginal Corporation is calling for applications for the multi-faceted position of Coordinator, Business Development.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Business Development Coordinator is a member of the Management Team.
This is a niche role in a small and busy team and the person we are looking for needs to be across the multi-faceted aspects of the role- Indigenous business development, land tenure in WA, legislative framework, strong business support networks in WA.
You will be primarily responsible for
The Business coordinator will ensure development projects are delivered on time and on budget through effective project management methodology and governance. The coordinator will engage relevant internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver activities that meets aspiration of a documented growth strategy. Finally, the coordinator will support day-to-day operations, Board governance, outreach programs, events, meetings and workshops.
The position is based in Derby and offers a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with working for a not-for-profit organisation in a remote area.
