You will be responsible for leading a mobile and innovative team steering a new approach to addressing legal needs outside the conventional office-based model. You will demonstrate leadership to facilitate enhanced access to services for Aboriginal people in the Mallee region. You will collaborate with stakeholders, internal and external promoting collaborative practice between legal and non-legal services, and delivering legal services to priority clients.
This opportunity will provide you with a role and lifestyle unlike any other, due to the service model and exposure to regional practice. Relocation support may be considered for the right candidate.
You will be a dedicated leader and senior lawyer with experience one or more areas of law including family or civil law.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively with vulnerable clients and stakeholders. You will have excellent stakeholder management and problem solving skills. You will demonstrate pragmatism, creativity and a can-do attitude.
