Vida Connects is a growing disability support provider based in Sydney, and we're looking for compassionate, reliable support workers to join our team on a casual basis.

Whether you're helping someone explore their community or supporting participants in one of our SIL homes in Croydon, no two days look the same - and that's what makes this work so rewarding.

What you'll be doing

You might be supporting someone to get out and about - grabbing a coffee, hitting the shops, attending appointments, or just enjoying the day. Or you might be working in one of our Supported Independent Living homes, helping participants with daily routines, meals, personal care, and feeling at home. Either way, you'll be making a real difference in someone's day.

We're looking for people who:

• Genuinely care about people and treat everyone with dignity and respect
• Can think on their feet and stay calm under pressure
• Are comfortable supporting participants with physical, intellectual, and psychosocial disabilities, including complex behaviours and high needs (including experience supporting people with epilepsy).
• Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn

What you'll need

• Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support, or relevant experience. 
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain), Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain), First Aid and CPR.
• A valid driver's licence and your own reliable car
