About the role

The Lead, Information Management reports to the Manager, ICT & Information Management, and works across the organisation, providing advice in areas including records & information management, privacy & freedom of information, and information security governance.

This is an exciting full time, ongoing opportunity, allowing you to showcase your planning & organising, project management and stakeholder management skills to ensure VicHealth maintains accurate and up to date records and information.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and governance of Records and Information Management in line with legislative requirements;
  • Administer compliance and assurance regimes to ensure Privacy and Freedom of Information procedures in line with legislative requirements;
  • Manage Information Security Governance processes;
  • Act as the main point of contact for administration of information repositories including SharePoint Online, Teams and Adobe Sign; and
  • Deliver system & business process inductions and training in relation to SharePoint Online, privacy/information security, and information management.

About you:

We’re looking for someone who demonstrates at least three years’ experience working in a similar information/knowledge management position.

You will be able to provide efficient and effective liaison; maintain relationships with stakeholders; and represent VicHealth in a professional manner at stakeholder events.

If you have well-developed stakeholder management skills, you will thrive in this highly collaborative role.

Additional qualifications and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in knowledge/information management (desirable, yet not essential)
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Victorian Government (including Public Records Office of Victoria) legislative and other requirements relating to records and information management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Works well in a team and can build relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders
  • High competency with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint Online (administration experience desirable)

Tenure: Full-time, ongoing

Classification: VicHealth Grade D

Remuneration: From $93,176 per annum (plus superannuation and other benefits)
