Join us as we embark on our new VicHealth Strategy 2023-2033!
VicHealth is the world’s first health promotion foundation. Established by the Victorian Parliament in 1987, we were the first agency of our kind worldwide to utilise a hypothecated tax on tobacco to support independent, long-term, evidence-based health promotion practice, partnerships and leadership. We continue to be a global leader in health promotion, as a Collaborating Centre with the World Health Organization and as a technical partner to UNICEF.
VicHealth welcomes and values applications from candidates who are of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent, candidates with culturally diverse backgrounds, candidates with disability and those from the LGBTIQA+ community. We are committed to making reasonable adjustments to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
For the past decade, our work has been guided by an integrated 10-year strategy. Looking to the future, as we embark on our new 10-year strategy

Day to day tasks will include leading efficient and effective liaison, maintaining relationships with key government stakeholders, developing and pursuing VicHealth policy positions, and representing VicHealth in a professional manner at stakeholder events.
